Board-certified in internal medicine and endocrinology, holds the ECNU (Endocrine Certification in Neck Ultrasound) credential, and completed an endocrine fellowship at Duke University Hospital before founding the Charleston Thyroid Center. A credential distinct from Izabella Wentz (a pharmacist, already on this site), adding a second, MD-level thyroid voice. Disclosed conflict of interest: runs a private thyroid-focused practice and sells consults and telehealth visits through it.
