What it is

Greenfield is the archetypal biohacker: he layers light, heat, cold and PEMF on top of training, sleep and a low-carb, nutrient-dense diet, with a targeted supplement stack. His philosophy is to optimise what you are already doing. The devices are big-ticket; the foundations (sleep, contrast therapy, a few supplements) carry most of the benefit.

Why it works
Recovery is when adaptation happens. Down-regulating the nervous system with breath, PEMF and hot-cold contrast, plus nutrient timing, helps you absorb training instead of accumulating fatigue. Red light and heat/cold are hormetic stressors with growing evidence; the gear mostly stacks convenience onto those basics.

Is this for you?
Good fit if
  • Hard trainers and high-stress lifestyles
  • People plateaued who want to dial in recovery
  • Gadget-inclined optimisers (with the budget for devices)
  • Anyone building a home recovery setup
Cautions
  • Many devices have limited or emerging evidence; nail the basics (sleep, training, diet, cold/heat) before buying gear
  • Cold and heat: cardiac conditions or pregnancy, clear it with a doctor
  • Peptides, hyperbaric oxygen and similar are prescription or clinic-only; we do not sell or dose them
  • Supplement evidence varies (for example, oral glutathione absorption is debated); consult a doctor or pharmacist
  • Note: some items he discusses, such as nicotine, are addictive and are intentionally excluded here
  • Educational only, not medical advice
